All relationships whether romantic, platonic, or familial have something to teach us. They provide us with the opportunity for growth and self-discovery. This is especially true for what we consider toxic relationships. These are the relationships that leave us feeling emotionally and physically drained. They lead us to question our self-worth, as well as our sanity, and at some point or another leave us with our heads spinning. Often times you may not realize a relationship is toxic. In the beginning you may think you are overreacting until the relationship starts to feel like a prison sentence instead of a loving partnership.
